The journey continues...
the beginning: The World Race 2009...
This year was packed with ups and downs - some of my best and hardest moments. I went to 16 countries in all after the dust had settled, and I made the final count. I was a part of evangelistic outreaches in Haiti, medical outreaches in Zimbabwe, ministry to prostitutes in Thailand, prayed for healing and encouragement for those in Cambodia, befriended and prayed over orphans in Swaziland, helped teach English to Ukrainian kids, shared the Gospel in Vietnam - where it is not allowed to be shared, taught leaders in the Dominican Republic, shared testimonies and prayed for miracles in Lesotho, helped lead 49 other Racers on a quest for living out God's Kingdom on Earth. What a year...and that's not even everything!
If you prayed for me this year...
If you gave of your finances for me this year...
If you wrote on my blogs or sent me messages this year...
If you shared the testimonies you read about from this year...
...then YOU were a part of all that God did. Thank you for doing this with me! My year, and everything I was a part of are now a part of your testimony and your rewards in Heaven.
the next step in 2010...
I believe very much in the ministry vision of Adventures In Missions (AIM), who created The World Race, so I am very excited to now have an opportunity to work with them post-Race. God is reaching a generation through the ministries of this organization - and it's not simply to send young people out into the world for a year, but it's to change them for a LIFETIME! I will be stepping into a leadership role in the Short Term Missions department in AIM - which in the interim means I will be overseeing the Haiti relief efforts - both in helping to develop the long term overall strategy, and in mobilizing teams and resources into the places of greatest need.
Even though this position will often involve a desk and being on American soil most of the time, I will still need to raise the financial support that I will live off of. If you would like to help with this, please feel free to click on the *Support Me!* button to the left and follow the instructions, just as you would have when I was on the Race. Please pray for me, and please continue to read my blogs. I'll keep you updated as God leads me on. Much love to you all!
I'm so blessed by each one of you visiting this site, and I pray that God uses it to bless you in some way!
